Since 1992, Marsh Building Products has been a proud distributor of Marvin Windows and Doors and the Marvin family of brands including Integrity Windows, Infinity Windows, and TruStile doors.

Marvin was founded in 1912 when George Marvin established the Marvin Lumber and Cedar company in tiny Warroad, Minnesota. In 1938, George Marvin called his son, Bill, a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota and said he needed help. After a lumberyard employee suggested making door frames and barn sashes to keep workers busy during the lean months of winter, Bill Marvin bought a saw and began the family venture into the window and door business.

With the end of WWII and the realization that veterans returning from war would need jobs, Bill Marvin Doors.

With the introduction of new products, the addition of patio doors, and a fleet of trucks, Marvin saw tremendous growth during the 1950’s and 1960’s. What began as a company with a few employees had expanded to a company with hundreds and business was booming. Through the 70’s, 80’s, 90’, and 2000’s Marvin has remained a family owned business and now employs over 4,000 people.

The traditional line of Marvin Windows and Doors are made with all wood or wood interiors with extruded aluminum exteriors. With highly trained and experienced wood scientists, Marvin ensures that only the highest quality wood is used. Available in standard Western White Pine or one of the other exotic wood species, Marvin products bring the beauty, warmth, and durability of wood to any project. Our factory pre-finishing options in white, as well as multiple stain colors, put the finishing touches on any of our Marvin wood products.

Just like the wood, our aluminum exteriors are made of the highest quality material with the most durable and colorfast finishes. Our finish meets the AAMA 2605 testing standard giving you years of reliable beauty and performance. Available in 19 colors and an abundance of custom options, these windows and doors are sure to meet your design preferences and requirements.

Ultrex Fiberglass is used to make the Integrity and Infinity windows and doors THREE times stronger than vinyl and EIGHT times stronger than vinyl/wood composites. It is made up of high density woven fibers bound by thermally set resin.  This gives Ultrex an expansion rate that nearly equals glass and the ability to withstand the most extreme temperatures. With a life expectancy of 38% longer than vinyl windows and doors, this superior material is an ideal choice for any exterior application. Additionally, the Integrity acrylic finish is just as durable as the fiberglass used to make them. This finish is a patented acrylic finish and the only finish to be verified to any of the AAMA’s 624-10 finish specifications.  Available in All-Ultrex or Wood-Ultrex versions, customers can get the durability and performance of our Ultrex fiberglass as well as the option for the warmth and beauty of real wood.
